Well, lets just say they are easier to get to bite than tarpon. But had 4 big poons follow the fly hard but no eats . Don't know why, these local fish are supposed to feed easily. One did a 90 and followed but no eats...if it followed another few feet I think I would have fainted. Casting failed me on a couple but all in all got some hard looks. Feeding em a fly is an art. I need more experience.

Saw these jacks laid up, in a tight ball, and got this one to bite. Fun fight! I was blessed to get a free ride with one of the best tarpon guides in the country. I owe a good and generous friend a lot for taking me under his wing

DeeDee is right Bill. If you use a smaller hook you might get a poon to take the bait.

Had to be a blast RS Throwing that hook on a flyrod is most impressive.
