First attempt at spinning deer hair ..Dunno know what it will catch looks like it needs a shave to me! It needs more weight than bead chain to make it sink though.

Nice job - I don't know that much about saltwater flies but I know it resembles things I've seen in stores, which is I'm sure better than I could do on a first try...

I was raised up in the north end of Lee County and the first wild deer I ever saw was in the late 50's. Used to hear of people hunting them over in Terrell county. No hunting at all in Lee County back then.
