Not that i would ever use live bait myself, but a friend and I are taking our boys out of Ecofina this weekend and we are wondering if they have hadany live shrimp at the Aucilla JRs lately. I hate to burn the daylight only to find they don't have any.

Thanks,

They will have them at JRs' or at the Econfina store.

Thanks Jumptrout. A few live shrimp should make short work of a few reds for three young guys.

Watch out for the trash fish. Gulp and a popping cork may get you better results. Used to live in Macon, GA myself, good luck to ya.

I don't believe a live shrimp would last 30 secs at Econfina before pinfish tore it to shreds. Stick with gulp or reg. jigs.

I used to fish with live bait all the time. Never more of a problem with the baitfish than they are with Gulp. Just my .02 and then some.
