Finally after many months of not being able to hit the vast FLATS, I am getting a chance to go. Spent the past six months overcoming a 12 month all expense paid vacation to Afghanistan. Now the time is here. Usually fish out of Fenholloway and Rock Island area. Any suggestions on what is hot and what is not besides the weather? :D PLanning on going out under the last quarter moon Jun 28 about 3:30. Just got to go slow to get past the oyster bar. Help me!

I've been catching some nice trout in close around structure of some sort, grass lines, oyster bars, sand bar drop-offs anything that is different from the surrounding area and looks like it would be an ambush spot. If you had an all expense trip to Afganistan, then I'm sure you know what an ambush point looks like.
Welcome back and good fishing.
