Aucilla 6-22

Me and little cousin got to the landing about 7:30 due to some technical difficulties(couldn't get out of bed 
) ran out to about 3' to catch some pins. Watched my first Tarpon jump about 100 yrds off... that was pretty sweet! 
Tried to ease over there and catch him with no luck. Caught a couple pins and ran out to 6' right off a big patch of floating grass about 6-7 miles from a nice thunder head. In about the first 10 casts the Cuz caught 4 lady fish then a nice 18 1/2" trout on some Gulp 5" Jerk shads. While he was reeling in I caught a short trout then another short while he was "dehooking" his. Next cast out 16" for him and a 13" rock for me. "Po' Boy Poon" put on a show with one of my pins and then broke the line off at the CT. 
Still watching the clouds build we ran back to drift the spot again and saw another storm headed for us. Around 10:00 we ran to the mouth to try and beat it but it caught us first, so back out we went. Off to the west pass fished until the big storm started getting too close for comfort. Back at the hill by 10:30, on the Wacissa River by 11:00 for a relaxing afternoon.
