Hey guys,

I was wondering if any of you knew of any good places within a reasonable distance that has on the water camping. Im looking to get away this weekend for some fishing and camping with preferably a view that looks onto the water. Right now we are thinking of going up to Jekyll Island, GA. Would like to stay in florida though, I do not want to buy my 5th out of state fishing license for the year. Any help would be appreciated.

Pressnells Marina in St. Joe Bay has tent camping as well as camper spots. Also on the bay and great Trout and Redfishing.

thanks onekeeper. I called up there but they dont do tent camping in the middle of the summer. it looks like a real nice place though. Maybe this upcoming fall. I forgot about the state park on cape san blas. Thats looking like a good option as of right now.

St Joseph State Park, Indian Pass Campground, Tate's Hell State Forest, depending on the site.

st. joseph is awesome. bring bug spray though.
