Deeper Water Scallops

The craziness out by black rock and the scallop grounds got to me, so we headed back east about .5 mile to a spot in deeper water. It was about 8.5 feet at low tide. The scallops, though small, we very plentiful Whenever we'd find a sandy spot, there would be 40-60 scallops gathered on/around it. The deep water collection was much more strenuous than just picking them out of the shallows, so after about an hour, the three of us were done with the deep water. We pulled in 6 gallons in that time frame.
