I'm looking for a good used outboard to push a 12' jon boat for shallow water fishing and floundering. A short shaft motor.

I need one that starts real easy 'cause I'm old and runs good 'cause I'm fat.

I am with you Capt. Charlie. I am looking for one smaller than you though. I really wish I could find a good 6hp to push a 13 foot Gheenoe up the river. They are HARD to find though. Good luck.
