Another banner day. We had 22 teams brave the weather and participate in the NFGFC Tournament held out of Jerry's Bait & Tackle. What was most surprising to me was we had 6 teams weigh over 10 pounds of fish in a July tournament.

Congratulations to Hugh Collins and Tommy Thompson. They won the tournament with a 5 fish limit weighing 12.71 pounds. They also claimed the big fish pot with a 5.28 pound trout.

The Bass Boys (Jeff Trent, Austin Trent, and Chuck Collins) claimed the redfish pot with a 7.19 pound red.

There was not a legal cobia weighed in. That means the August "Badcock and More Mistery Fish Pot" (Thanks Jay Evans) will be worth $300.

Thanks to all that participated, and we'll see you all next month.

One place out of the money with a 4.96 trout....one place out of the money with 11.90 pounds in July

Seems to be a trend with tournaments for me :-?

Probably the best stringers of fish for a July tournament I can ever remember seeing...either the fishing is getting better or the fishermen are getting better :-D

Glad I drove over to catch my third largest trout and go for a ride on the Gator Trax - enjoyed it TC

It was a great tournament for sure. Thanks to all our sponsors for some great donations! We gave away several Saltwater Assasin baits, a really nice Falcon rod, some great Hogy lures and several others.

Congrats to Captain Eric Keyser for winning a new Falcon rod!

Having some pic issues, will get them up when I can figure it...
