Do you have some vintage pictures of your grandparents fishing.

This is my Grandfather that got me to love fishing so much. He used to catch these fish with instinct and no fishfinder or maps. He was a great guy too.

I am starting to look now, based on how cool these pics are. I also would love to gander at the boat to his right in the final picture. Thanks

When I was a kid, folks would come to his cabinet shop across from the Coca Cola bottle plant and ask himto make them a wooden boat. They worked great.

My grandfather and his brother built and sold boats for a living near the outer banks in Washington, NC. That's also where Fountain boats are made. My mom says she refused to go into my Uncle Yudie's house because he would hang fish nets in his living room to dry them. She said his house always smelled fishy.

My grandfather died in 1969 after he had a heart attack while on a ladder building himself a custom sailboat, RIP. I never got to meet him, but I sure I have some good pictures of the old salt.
