A few years back, our bass club fished a tournament out of Wewa the same weekend as the Catfish Classic. I was amazed. It looked like BASS was there. This is a big deal. They were sponsored by Penn. There was a big stage, a live release tank, and all kinds of prizes, including a new boat, motor and trailer. This is a well organized tournament. But you better take your A game. These folks are as serious about cat fishing as we are about trout and reds.
