IAMONIA ??????????

THE LAST TIME I WENT OVER TO IAMONIA ABOUT A WEEK AGO I CAUGHT 9 BLACK BASS IN A SHORT TIME. I WENT AGAIN THIS MORNING ABOUT DAYLIGHT, BACKED THE LITTLE BOAT IN TO LAUNCH, GOT IN AND TRIED TO CRANK THE LITTLE 5 1/2 JOHNSON, THAT THING FAILED ME FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 50 YEARS. IT JUST WOULD NOT CRANK. WELL SINCE I HAD THE BOAT IN THE WATER I DECIDED TO USE THE TROLLING MOTOR AND DO SOME FISHIN. I DID NOT GET THE FIRST STRIKE, MAINLY BECAUSE I COULD NOT GET TO WHERE I CAUGHT THE FISH LAST WEEK. LOADED THE BOAT UP AND HEADED BACK TO THE HOUSE. WHEN I GOT TO THE HOUSE I FOUND OUT WHY SHE WOULD NOT CRANK. I FAILED TO COMPLETELY ATTACH THE FUEL LINE TO THE MOTOR. I HITCHED IT UP AND PULLED HER 3 TIMES AND SHE FIRED OFF. I GUESS WHEN YA GET AS OLD AS I AM YA KINDA FORGET TO CHECK THINGS LIKE I USE TO. SHAME ON ME. :smt010 :smt010 :smt010 :smt011 :smt011 :smt012 :smt012 :smt012 :smt005 :smt005 :smt004 :smt004

HEY CHUGBUG, YEA, THE PADS ARE BACK IN FULL FORCE. THOSE STATE BIOLOGIST WERE GOING TO REMOVE THE PADS BY DROPPING THE WATER LEVEL, THEY HAVE NOT BEEN AROUND VERY LONG, YA DON'T GET RID OF LILLY PADS. I KNOW OF A SMALL LAKE DOWN IN SOUTH FLA. WHERE THEY DRAINED IT AND IT STAYED DRAINED FOR 10 YEARS. THEY PLUGGED THE WELL THEY PUT IN AND AS SOON AS THE WATER COVERED THE POND THE PADS WERE BACK BIGGER AND MORE THAN EVER.

REDBELLY, BOY YA WANTA WATCH LAUNCHING , THERE IS A BIG PILE OF CONCRETE ABOUT 15 FT STRAIGHT OUT FROM THE RAMP, I TAGGED IT WITH MY LITTLE 5 1/2 JOHNSON YESTERDAY, THE SKEG ON THAT THING IS ONLY 12 INCHES DOWN. I NOTICED THAT THE SINK HOLE HAS FILLED BACK UP AND THEY ARE NOT DRAINING THE LAKE ANYMORE. IF THEY WILL LEAVE THE DAM ALONE THE LAKE WILL FILL BACK UP TO NORMAL, THEN THE BASS FISHING WILL BE GREAT AGAIN.
