Sat and Sun. in the wind
Despite the wind on Sat. Baygator and I decided to hit the flats. Got off to a gentlemanly start about 9:30, no need to be in a hurry because the wind was blowing hard out of the South West. It was hard to get out of the wind but we managed 4 or 5 slot reds( I can't remember) to about 24" and two slot trout.
Tried to do a little Tarpon fishing on Sun, but the South winds just would not let up. The Seas were angry!!. John did a balancing act on the front of his boat with the castnet to get us a few baits.
Caught some monster sail cats and a shark or two. Put the boat back on the trailer after about 2.5 hours. Thanks for the ride BG.....I'm sure we would have done better if the Tarpon season wasn't already over

Better than what I did all weekend.
Gotta keep at 'em.
Gotta keep at 'em.

Sounds like a good day

Almost went overboard a couple of times, but managed to stay with it!! Enjoyed it BH, maybe next time it won't be like fishing in a washing machine. CC, I can get you one of these fine PR hats for cheap!!
