Well, I know this is a fishing message board, but I figured some of you could relate since most of us live in Florida and Georgia. I got a call from my neighbor the other day while I was at work and he asked if I was sitting down. Turns out a tree fell on my house during a big thunderstorm.

I know I got on to Mudducker last month, so some might say that I earned it.

Luckily the damage was minimal and my new roof isn't leaking, so I dodged a bullet. Its still a pain to deal with insurance companies in Florida, but it could have been a lot worse. At least I had an excuse to buy a new chainsaw. I took a few pics just in case the insurance company tried to contest the damage.

Hate to see that WD, at least you didn't have much damage.

Hate it for you. My neighbor had a pretty big one fall last week, but it just hit his mailbox. Fortunately, I had my tractor in town redoing my backyard, so I slapped a chain around it and drug it to the road for him.

Since your a lawyer, I'm guessing that after the insurance comapny pays for the new roof there will also a new boat in the driveway too.
