1984 mercury, 6 cylinder inline, 125 psi compression on all cylinders, needs a head gasket because one cylinder the plug is clean. I bought a bassboat, trailer and this engine from a friend to rig out a carolina skiff. I ran the boat for two seasons and then I was getting ready for a week down at keaton beach with my brothers from Minnesota and decided to put new plugs in. Noticed that one plug wasn't brown and thats when I found out that that cylinder was getting water into it. Didn't have time to get it fixed so I went to the sports center in perry and bought a new 115 hp four stroke. Comes with the rigging out of the bassboat.$700 Imageg]Image

yes it has trim and tilt. I have replaced most of the gaskets now (8/22/08) parts and my labor price is now 900 obo.
email me at markaseifert@bellsouth.net" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. I keep my other boat in carrabelle so I could bring it down on one of my trips if someone was interested.
