Mook's question about gas got me to thinking . I've got gas in the Pathfinder I could use in the truck (since I have no time to use the Pathfinder :smt010 ).
What would be a good pump to do the transfer? Preferably something cheap, and probably manual.

A garden hose with a good suction :-D

It doesn't get much cheaper than a siphon hose.

On a side note....if folks are thinking along the lines of removing gas from their boat....I'd strongly suggest that if fuel tanks are being emptied, that some stabil or similar product be added to the tank after the gas is removed. I try to keep mine full regardless of how much I use the boat. An empty tank will have a lot more condensation form in it (water). just my .02

WHAT BUD SAID, I KEEP MY TANKS FULL ALL OF THE TIME, EVERY TIME I COME IN FROM A TRIP I FILL THE TANK . PUT STYBIL IN IF I DO NOT PLAN TO USE THE BOAT WITHIN A MONTHS TIME. THIS WILL ALSO PREVENT THE PICK-UP LINE IN THE TANK FROM GETTING BRITTAL AND BREAKING OFF.
