Who just can't listen to the words "DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH RUSHING FLOOD WATER"
Highway 84 between Cairo and Thomasville. From what I understand, several had to be plucked out of trees by helicopter...
I also wonder if you intentionally drove into this, would your insurance pay off, or just say "Dumb Arse"

What a fool! This would be good evidence natural elimination (Darwinian), only fortunately for him, there are some really good emergency workers that helped save his dumb arse.

If you need to get rid of it, send it down here to Monticello. I'm sure I could take care of her for you for a while.
I have always loved an FJ 40. Almost bought one as a teenager but the folks talked me out of it at the time. Looking back, then would have been the time to have one.
Well done on the restoring.

I restored one with my dad when I was 15, it was a '73. Took the hard top off and put a soft top on it. Will try to find some pics. Good job on the restoration!

Awesome looking Land Cruiser!
We had one for about 10 years and most of our kids learned to drive in it as it was virtually indestructible. Only time I do not miss it is during the summer.....that bad boy could get hot!
If you ever decide it needs a new home please call me!

whitebc and RHTFISH - Thanks again for the compliments! Appreciate it...
You are right about being indestructible.... It's a 79 and all original except for the wheels and tires and I'd like to go back to the original rims one day...... keeping it old school.... Checked compression a few months back and she was at 165-170.... runs like a sewing machine..... They don't make'm like they used too....
DT - Didn't mean to derail about the dufus!!!! Continue.....

Sweet ride. I would not suggest crossing that flooded creek in ANY vehicle.
