When standing in a chair to get something off the top shelf, use caution as to where your head is located in relation to the ceiling fan.
Especially if your wife is standing right there watching.
But if you are going to do this, standing in a wheeled swivel chair makes things a little more dramatic.

It was a booby-trap I tell ya'. It was planned. She's the one who picked my long blade fins up off the floor and put them up there.
