by What a mess
Ran down to you know me you know where. Tried the in close thing and was eaten alive by yellow and black flies. Some bait and a couple of strikes but it wasn't to be. Ran out to ten and up and didn't tear them up but had steady action from a bunch of species. Mostly trash or shorts 1 each keeper Trout, Black, and a big Spanish. I saw one sky on bait got a little closer my buddy got bit off I suggested the spoon with wire already rigged. He declined I had him pass it to me and viola bait spooked I cast and he netted. The joker was 24 inches long and was in the net before it knew it was hooked. Ten pound test mono. The storm was coming so I ran in just in time boat on trailer when 1st drop hit. Rained all the was to Quitman where it flooded like crazy the streets were rivers. No it was nothing to brag about but 1st outing in 1 month and clearly the last one this week cause another storm is about to hit. Don't cry for me I got out there and didn't even have to wash the boat.

Any day fishing is a good day! You can't beat a good rain storm that washes the boat for you...

Good trip. Moca Capachino, are you trying to say the water is stained?? I hope it clears up soon, I want to go back and try it again.
