On the water at 6:30 Saturday A.M. looking for Tarpon. Jumped one fish on a topwater plug while waiting for the light to get better(for fly fishing). The plug was meant for Trout, and I had already caught some good ones, but then Mr. Poon decided that he wanted some breakfast. Spooled my Calcutta 250 in 10 seconds. Oh-well. Had one eat on fly and then missed the hookset :( Caught some more nice Trout and a couple Reds before the storms moved in. Did the same thing Sunday but to many clouds to sight fish for Tarpon so we decided to Catch some more really nice Trout, all between 16-24". Bite was getting really good when another storm came up at 10. a.m. Went back out that evening and caught some more Reds. All but one fish was caught on topwater the entire weekend. Hell of a good time, but I just wish we could get one weekend without having to dodge them damn "Ochlocknee Squalls" Take it easy.

CBASS:
Thats 3 trips now where you're catching fish when no one else is. You better just make room for me on your next trip or I'm taking my business to Kevin's.

Well Birddog, I'll tell you what, if the weather is favorable Sunday maybe we can figure some way out to go stick one or two. By the way how much did that 29" fish weigh? Call me and let me know something.
