I want to know a good material to replace a top section of the console so that new guages can be installed. This has been done sometime in the past but not very well and also old guages are no good. I will try add pictures this week when I find out how. I plan to use Lido guages from Overtons.

All that I have seen is half inch or thicker. What is on there now is eight inch and looks like plastic. The additional thickness may be better anyway. Does starboard cut and shape like wood (same tools)? RDS Aluminum Products in Perry, Fl. is building my new gas tank after much shopping around. How old are the girls now tin? I only know the picture. Thanks Tom.

Starboard is almost like working with wood. It cuts and shapes easily. All of your wood working tools will work fine.

While you're in Perry, stop by Marine Liquidators. They sell Starboard in the form of used box lids, etc. Much cheaper than ordering, or the small pieces available at the boating stores.

The oldest is 9, and the youngest is 6.

Thanks guys. Good stuff. I will be in Perry in a couple of weeks to pick up tank. My granddaughters are 12 and 6 and live in LA (not Lower Ala). Thanks again.
