Update on BB

Ive had several people call and ask about me in the last few weeks so I figured I would give an update. Two weeks in the cabin has about given me a serious case of boredom. I go back to the doc Wednesday to get my drain removed and then i should be good to get back to life. Im way behind on my workin, fishin, and huntin. I actually went back to the store in Adel today and worked for a bit. Thank God for my employees, one would think ive never left. Theyve not missed a beat. I still have 500 or so stitches left and hopefully he'll take out the last 100 or so that have to come out. I havent had a pain pill in a week and other than being really tight when i stand up, Im in really good shape. I loaded several bushels of corn into a feeder at my cabin yesterday and none of my guts fell out so I guess im close to being healed. Im hoping he will clear me to get back on the tractor, I have some severely malnourished deer in Whigham! I fully intend on handing out some azzwhoopings in the Oct. tourney so be ready guys, Im planning on bringing it. Fall is my time of the year!! us fatboys like it when it cools down! Oh and by the way, you guys are gonna be upset, not near as much of me to have fun poking at anymore. Im at 221lbs!! Thanks for all the warm well wishes and all the phone calls. We have an awesome group here !

Down from 268. Trust me, surgery is not the way to do it. I had dropped to 238 before the surgery, the surgery just helped with the next few lbs. Im ready for a trip to the coast in a bad kind of way!

Glad to hear you're doing better Jay and on your way to a speedy recovery    Let me know if I can contribute a boat cleaning before the next tourney so Team BB can really "show up and show out" in style  It's not like I've had to clean mine lately 'cause it hasn't been used :smt009

Yea Chalk, actually they did. Other than a 3" patch across my spine, I am cut all the way around. They fixed the first two on the front and then had to come in from the back. I have a solid incision from the base of my spine all the way around to the base of my spine on the other side. (And yea before anyone says it, it is a "long" incision :D :smt009 :-D ) The doc said over 700 stitches to begin with, Theyve just taken a lot of them out. I go back today to have the drain removed. Im hoping to be able to fish the tourney in Oct. so Im trying to get healed up ASAP! The doctor told me Im a week to ten days ahead of anyone he's ever had to do a procedure like this on. You figure I wear a 34-38 in pants depending on the style. It takes a few stitches to sew three foot of ass back together!! :-D And Big T, KMA!! :-D
