Larry Munson, the voice of the bulldogs for as long as I can remember, which is a long, long time, has decided to retire immediately. I noticed on the last game that he called that he sounded very weak. My best wishes to Larry in his retirement. I hope he regains his strength and enjoys his retirement.

I noticed he sounded quite weak during his last broadcast and I commented to my wife he was probably going to be forced to give it up very soon.
SAD! I'm one of those guys who would mute GA games on tv and listen to Munson on radio along with tv pics! A LEGEND IN HIS OWN TIME!
He's seen and announced through the good, bad and ugly at UGA and has rightly earned honor throughout the scope of college football.

"LINDSEY SCOTT! LINDSEY SCOTT! LINDSEY SCOTT!" It may be equaled but never excelled!

Always enjoyed hearing him start...."get the picture."

He also enjoys fishing!

I, as a Gator fan, enjoyed listening to the games just to hear his scope on things. Hell of a man with a hell of a career! those will be some mighty big shoes to fill!!
