Seems that USC was not invincible after all. When the DAWGS whop bammer, we could well take the #1 slot back. Personally, I wish we would not. I don't want it until January. Just gives every opponent more incentive to try to whip you.

The spread on Alabama yestdy was 6 - as the guy on ESPN said yestdy if Sabin rolls into Athens and takes them down in black - he will be the greatest coach of all time. Should be a good game.

Please Please Please football gods, let UGA go to #1. Let OU look like crap and UF hammer Ole Miss so come November 1, #1 and #2 can play in JAX!!!! That would be so awesome! My only thought about the UA/UGA game is it is gonna be a dang good'un.

OU has a pretty tough schedule they have to beat texas,texas tech,tcu and rivals oklahoma state.. we will find out what they are made of.. the problem i see with this is that the sec is so challenging can UGA and Uf make it through the season without losing their ranking too. worst case mizzou/wisconsin sneaks up to the top. i'd like to see Texas/OU/Alabama vs UGA/UF/Lsu in the Championship any of those scenarios and ill be happy.. i really like what Nick Saban is doing with Bama. hope i dont piss off any UGA fans with that statement.

The only problem with those secnarios is there are too many SEC teams there.If the Bulldawg Nation learned anything last year it was that if you don't win your conference, then you can't play for a Championship. But I like and could see just about any of those teams making it.
Saban has Bama looking good, I've been more worried about this game than just about any other on the schedule.

I agree with your commenst about Bama and Sabin.....I am excited that Bama is a team that gets National attention. I am UGA first, then SEC all the way. I was just so tired of hearing all the USC hype. If they had a SEC type schedule, then I would show some more respect for them.

BB - I agree a #1 vs #2 showdown in Jax. would be awesome......and may the best team win and continue on through January as National Chanpions. Bringing the title back to the SEC once again !!!

Lets see....bammer is down to only paying $aban about $922,000.00 per point that the team has scored since his arrival. A real steal for those bammer fans.

I lost a lot of respect for bammer when they treated Shula the way that they did. This was one of their own who came into a situation where few would have. He was finally going to have a year when his recruits could play and they shuck him like a pair of old shoes. Then they throw the Tuscalossa National Bank at $aban.

Having said that, it should be an awesome game. I don't think bammer has the horses to stop us this year and I hope I am right.

BB, no matter what, November is going to be an awesome game. Remember this year's mantra .... you gotta go with 2 in a row.
