Are you guys seeing any bonita busting on the way out? If so, how far out? Also, have you seen what they are eating? Sorry for the questions but I suddenly have an urge to chase a bonita. Need to tie up some flies to match the hatch. Thanks.

I HAVE ALWAYS SEEN THEM AROUND O TOWER AND USUALLY CATCH SOME TROLLING FOR KINGS. I ASSUME THEY WILL SHOW UP IF YOU START CHUMMING.

NOLE they are EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are chasing around small schools of fry. However, it's not just Bonita, I have been catching spanish, and hooked up with a couple King's also. We were able to catch the Bonita on topwater if that gives you any help on what type of flys to sling. You'll really start to see them in depths starting at around 13 to 14ft. But I have seen them as shallow as 8. Good luck, I'll be out there tomorrow afternoon. Looks like the seas are gonna lay down.

We saw no less than 10 schools offshore Sunday. They aren't far past the SW buoy at St. Marks.

I didn't see any out Carrabelle yesterday, but I'm sure they're out there. We always hang 'em trolling, but didn't troll offshore yesterday.
