I was able to break loose and take my Grandad and two friends fishing Sat. afternoonon. Left Tville at 2:00 - the bite was slow to start, but ended up with a bang. We started off in 7.5ft with 3 nice size keepers and of course ladyfish and cats. Moved closer in around 5:30 or so and first stop landed a keeper red, Second stop - keeper red........ Stayed in and picked up total of 4 reds and a trashy trout mostly on topwater, but one did manage to bite a Capt. Bird Dog spoon. Overall, had a great trip on the water with friends and my 80 Y/O. My grandfather put the first 3 keeper trout in the boat and I enjoyed that more than he did.

Sounds like a good trip. You are very lucky to have a Grandfather to take fishing, I wish either of mine were still around. Enjoy your times together.
