Agreed. My sign for McCain and the Superintendent got ran over last week.
That nuisance 6th gets in the way. As if we weren't regulated enough.

I'm sorry you guys are suffering these reprehensible acts. I must live in a good neighborhood cause when I came home from work tonight, it looked like someone had washed and waxed the Uhbama-Biden signs stuck in my yard. I might park my truck next to one of them and see what happens. Buy stocks now; I heard an awesome quote on the radio tonight by Warren Buffet-----"When others are greedy, beware; when others are wary, be greedy". These are indeed interesting times.

Obama supporters have been removing McCain-Palin signs all over Valdosta. If you ride down Jerry Jones, you would not think there was a single supporter for McCain in Valdosta. This couple with the activities of Acorn tell me that Obamantics are out to win at any cost, legal or not.

AMEN Bro. Suber! Can I get a witness??? :smt005

What has changed since the last election between Bush-Kerry???? Not much. The Dems are still going to get 99.9% of the black vote, which is always a given no matter the candidates race. No change there. All the far left voters voted for Kerry (the anti-Bush vote) and they just love the hell out of "Uh"bama. No change there. The Conservative base of the GOP is more united with the nomiation of Palin for VP. There's a change. I think 98% of registered voters know who they are voting for right now. A yard sign isn't going to change that.
I believe that there are more McCain-Palin supporters out there than the media thinks. I still believe that "Uh"bama is not electable, nor would any other candidate be given his credentials. That just leaves race as the determining factor. Just look at our local "non-partisan" event from yesterday. Talk about pushing the Obama agenda to intimidate. What if we had a "non-partisan" event where 99% of the participants were visualy supporting McCain? I bet it would be reported on a little differently in the Tallahassee "Mullet Wrapper". I'm all about making history, just not when the Presidency and future of our country is at stake.

I loved this one come-back on the FS forum when an Obamanation suporter ask "where are all the McCain supporters and why aren't they out like Obama's suporters"
The come-back " WE ARE AT WORK! SUPPORTING THE OBAMA SUPPORTERS!!"

I'm not sure about McCain/Palin. It seems like Sarah Palin is ready to pimp her state out to earth rapers no matter what the cost to the environment. It seems like they would bury our redfish and trout under an oil slick in return for 10 cents off of a gallon of gas.

Maybe Obama would be more beneficial to sportsmen everywhere.

It was really encouraging to see GEN (Ret) Colin Powell endorse Obama. Being active duty military, I was glad to see that there is another point of view

U should all remember that popular vote don't mean spit...who ever the man wants in is who will be in....as I told my professor in college a few years ago - "Their all evil - choose your poison carefully."

Anyone want to take bets on how high the gas will go after the election :-D

It was interesting to hear some oil execs privately say this summer that the fair market value for unleaded was $2.20 a gal, while prices at the pump were bid up to nearly $4.00 a gal. Prices will eventually settle out near their fair market price so I wouldn't be surprised to see gas prices at the pump continue to fall.

The reason we should be concerned with falling gas prices is that people (and politicians) will forget about our need to keep pushing energy independence if gas prices at the pump are low. Just as with fishing, we need to keep the pressure on. I'd love to see a race to develop technologies, in the same way we won the Space Race. And let's not make energy out of our food... that's dumb. If we don't get energy independence, life the way we like it is in for a nasty turn. Just my opinion... others may disagree.

Not sure what CrispyFisherman is talking about..if you go to Lousianna where all the oil rigs are there seem to be larger redfish and trout....or at least the bragging pictures I see from there show that.

Per Palin - as far as I understand, she took money away from the oil company's revenues off state lands and gave everyone a cut. Sounds real devious to me... I don't see any other governors with the kohunas to do that.

We must pursue new energy technologies, but the in the race for change, we need to keep away from some that require subsidizing to keep it "profitable" - like corn ethanol. That's not the only one. But let's eat the corn. My two cents.

Good luck Crispy. No hard feelings.
