True Story. While confessing to one of my HS students that I had tried to launch after removing only the safety hook, he told me about a family outing when the boat was hard to maneuver all day. When they got back to the dock the uncle came back w/o the trailer and when asked where it was he said "Y'all told me to unhook it when we put in the boat!" The trailer was still strapped under the boat. Thanks to WhiteBC for the reminder.
