Come on fellas

I got the cartridges ta shoot and I DON'T want her fireing all them through my old Stevens Model 87

"it's older than me, but still shoots great"

I'm just trying ta keep the cost to $100 or lower "in case she decides she don't like shootin no more"

someone must be heard of one somewhere that aint gonna break the bank

the ruger 10/22 is one of the greatest guns ever made and its available at wally world for less than $150. one of the most consistantly accurate guns ever.

My two children (7 & 9) love shooting our 10/22. AN excellent refle for kids. Sorry I don't have one or know of one for sale but there are plenty out there used for sale I bet.

Wevans, if you just want to burn some ammo then a semi will do it for you. If you'd like for her to develop some accuracy, the go with a bolt action before you turn her loose with a semi. It might even be cheaper. Either one of the two semi's already mentioned are good, I've had early versions of both. For a short barrel the ruger was surprisingly accurate and the mossberg wasn't to shabby either. If She hasn't already gone through a Hunter Safety Class, you might consider that if She has the time. Classes typically are 4 week nights followed by a range day on Saturday morning. There is also a online version to complete with a test and range day at the end. No cost and She would get lots of good information on different types of firearms, ammo, safety, ethics, laws, wildlife id, etc. It may be Jan before they have another class in Leon though. Make sure you get involved with her.
Our Wally world don't even carry ammo, much lesss the guns
Swing over to the one on the Parkway before you go home. They carry some.

I probably should just make her use my single shot, lever action for a while before I get her a semi of her on

and I can just take my time looking for one also

Thanks to gun control its hard to find a deal these days.. even if you find a deal on the internet you still have to do a FFL transfer and that will set you back $25-$40 unless you do a face to face transaction with a private seller in florida.
