North Florida Gulf Fishing Club Tournament.
The weather was extremely good compared to the horrible forecast for today.

Butch and I did not win.
However, Answered Prayers won the Badcock and More bonus fish pot with a $100 flounder.

Oh yeah, Trouttrent, Lil' trout and OneKeeper came in first and also had Big Red.

JSuber lucked up and got 2nd place and Big Trout.

Did I mention we gave away a G Loomis rod???

Everyone had fun. At least they said they did.
Wish ya'll were there.

Sounds like I missed a good time. This whole "work" thing is really getting in the way of fishing! I am glad to hear the weather cooperated for you guys.

It was but since that is the day of the Festival of Lights, SEC championship, ACC championship, etc, etc, we decided to move it to Sunday December 7th.

Sorry, I will have to miss this one as well ,,,,Just asking and not trying to start trouble but if the games and festival is on Saturday why not have it on the Friday before,,,,just asking because I didn't want to miss it.

Fishing or hunting Friday morning, party on Friday night, football...football...football on Saturday, hunting or fishing Sunday (or recovering from Saturday )

Some folks work for a livin. The last thing I want to do on Friday afternoon is have to fight traffic going out there after getting off work, picking up kids, etc.

You'd think since your kid won 2nd place AOY and 1st place Junior, you could find a way to make it.

I would if I could but he's in a Chirstmas play at church and we have a dinner there after so it is what it is o'well I guess I can go to the festival of lights or watch the ACC football game that FSU want even be in and since the date was changed because of the football games maybe we should not have tourney's on the days of games,,,as I said wish I could be there I'll just have to make it next year???

Unfortunately no matter what day you do it on, inevitably someone will have a conflict. With more than 150 members in the club, its bound to happen.
