I had to go to Alligator Point this morning at 5:00am to clean a boat for a client that was supposed to go offshore today with a few friends from out of town. Here's what it looked like at the marina when the sun came up......











I called the guy and left him the forecast and current conditions on his voicemail back in Tally. Needless to say, he never showed up

The wind had to be 20-25 and increasing when I left. 3 guys launched a flats boat and got beat to hell and back just trying to get to the channel....funny to watch, but I had to admire the determination You would have to REALLY want to go fishing today to put up with that! The boat turned out great and is about to go up for sale if anyone is interested....

We went down to get oysters. My freind has a house on Bald Point. We were gonna go there and fire up the grill, shuck a few, and hang for a little bit before returning to Ga.

We just got the 2.5 bushels of oyters divided up into icechest and turned tail back to Ga! It was an Artic blast coming from the east. Brrrrrrr.
