Levy Bay 12-07-2008

I was reading some reports and we decided this morning to check out Levy Bay. Met up with Talltails and Upthecreek. We paddled around in some shallow mud first thing this morning and fell into some nice reds. I managed to take a picture of one that measured 24.5 for the 321fish.com online tournament. Talltails caught a few rats and once he paddled away I hooked up a nice Red and let it bath around in the mud before it got off the hook. It was a nice one too. Picked it up on a big Gulp jerkbait and caught the other on a 4" Gulp shrimp molten. Wind started getting a little intolerable and we called it a day to get ready for the NFGFC Christmas party tonight. On the way in we saw Cameron heading out to the gulf. Hope she had a good day too.
Sorry for the bad picture but we were taking it for the 321fish and didn't make it too pretty.
