My wife got her 1st deer ever. A good one!

Was trying to get the Christmas tree up sat afternoon. I was having trouble with the lights and my wife was waiting to put on the ornaments. I told her and my boy to go sit in the stand and when they get back I will have the lights done. They got in the stand at 5:00 and shortly therafter they saw a bobcat. About 5:30 she texted me and said she was going to fall asleep. I told her she wouldn't and went back to working on the tree. At 5:45 she called me saying she had a buck down. I said your kidding, and she said no bring the truck. My son had spotted the buck at 5:40 and pointed it out to her. Then he said why don't you try for this one mommy. She said she watched it thru the scope for 5 minutes before she made a perfect 100 yard neck shot. When I got down there I could not believe my eyes. The buck was a 162# 7 pt with good mass and a 16 3/8 inside spread. I am real proud of her and my friends are envious.
