Too hot to hunt today, so I went fishing. Got to AH about 130 and fished till 330. Then drove over to Levy Bay and fished there until dark. Ran into SH while fishing at AH and chatted with him for a minute and also saw a woman in a purple kayak fishing with live shrimp, she had paddled out from her house it looked like. SH said he had caught a trout and red since he had been there.

Anyway, Was a pretty solid day, ended up with 11 reds. Most were in the 20-24'' range and also had a couple little rat reds only about 12-15''. the bite ended at AH about 300, that's when i decided to go to levy bay. At one point they turned on and I caught 7 fish in 10 casts... that was pretty cool. Kept a nice 24'' and he is on the skillet now about to get put in the belly with some :A1

On a bad note, I have no pictures because my camera took a dip in the water when one of my reds flopped the yak so hard it dipped down and into the water my camera went oh well . had some nice pictures on it...

well it was just so sunny and warm out that i decided to take my shirt off. Glad nobody was around though

Hmm, nice trip. Not too hot to hunt though. I added a limit of ringers to my bag yesterday morning. Had to turn on the therma cell though.

Glad to hear you had a great trip. I'm planning on hitting St. Mark with big El on friday, maybe we can pickup so shallow water grouper.

Sorry about the camera...I found out this year how quickly water will ruin a DSLR.

Weather is unreal and glad to hear fish are active!
