December was T-Time (Photo intense)

The winter tides have made for some great sight fishing, as many fisherfolk have reported here. With the wind and clouds today, thought I'd reminisce and share some photos from several trips in December with master Nole.
Went out solo yesterday and despite the wind managed some reds and fought a big trout for a while. Reds were tipping in 18-24" of water, burying their heads in the grass every few feet, and were crushing a crab
A couple of shots from yesterday:
Caught two early out of schools:

Caught two drifters, great fight from this 27" red that just had to have an olive whisper:

Had a big trout on that got off after a jump
December T-time with da' Nole:
Sub-t!:

A nice 28" red
:

You got to be good to sight fish 'em in the clouds...

or lucky:

New Xi2

Look at the belly of this stuffed fish....explains why most would not eat!

Some fly's du' jour - either scales or crab though:
Olive toad:

Uglyshrimp:

Purple standby:

Olive whisper and brown whispers:

Some random shots:

Mystery fisherman releases a 27

Despite the endless wind and clouds it was an awesome December! Thanks Nole for some great fishing!
