Has anyone seen good reds in these areas of Little St. George. Fished there last week and did absolutly poor. Where are other areas of Apalachicola Bay that reds are being caught? Any help would be appreciated..Thanks

someone who works for me sent me this message, about her husband's fishing, sunday night after they had spent the weekend down at st george
The fishing trip was productive with a catch of 6 trout: 1-15", 1-17 1/2", 2-19", 1-22", and 1-23". 2 reds: 22" and 24" and 1 bluefish. Had to throw back 1-22" trout, they already had their limit of big ones. Also had to throw back a nice redfish. Also caught a lot of ladyfish and a few catfish and had a dolphin swimming around the boat that kept them company for a few hours. All in all a nice fishing trip with fish for the freezer!
i had talked to him a couple of months ago and he was talking about wanting to fish the cut and the back of Little st george over to st vincent.
my understanding from some locals was to fish the incoming tide at st vincent's point and up st vincent's bar due the the fresh water pouring into the bay.
some of the guys on here could point you in the right direction
sorry i could not be more help

Sounds like they had a great day..Typically we can find a lot of reds on the bay side of Little St. George with an occasional trout. Apparently, the fresh water has the fish scattered and very selective to the incoming tides. i have heard of folks catching reds on the oyster bars around the guys raking for oysters. Other stories have said you can catch reds at the cut.
How about any reds toward St Marks and Aucilla? Any word?
