'nother Fog story

On Mon. the 29th at Keaton began the fog. After fishing all afternoon with just enough visibility, we traveled 9 miles from Warrior with GPS to arrive back at Keaton with NO visiblity. Boats were calling for directions with no idea where they were and without GPS.

We towed one boat back out and down the channel to a frantic wife on the pier. The lights on the markers were not visible from 50 yds. We had a way point we thought was marker #1 but it had actually been punched in at the No Wake sign. We tried to idle in to the hot dog stand thinking it was the end of the channel. The boat we towed were glad we had make the mistake. We did catch fish including 3 nice flounder (all on live) but since I don't have the pics on the 'puter I will have to post later. Thanks to all for reports this week and prior to our trip. I'm coming back soon.

Most of those lights don't work and haven't for quite awhile.
Glad you made it back in in one piece. I towed a boat back to the public ramp once, when we got back to the truck those ole boys had dropped off a case of Natty Light. It always pays to do the right thing.

Now that's what I call a fine gesture

......nothing says thank you more than springing for the expensive stuff
