Keeping the electric knife clean

For you folks that like to clean a mess of large fish with an electric knife. I've always had a hard time keeping the trigger and everything clean. So after each time i use it I wrap the knife with plastic wrap so it's ready to go for the next time. Leave the vents open. I also wrap the cord. Get it all nasty and simply remove the plastic when you're done. It might even be clean enough for the turkey on Thanksgiving. Now if I can just catch something that needs to be fileted. :lick:

Cool idea.
I guess something like Saran warp would work as well.

That's what I use.... we're too cheap to buy the real Saran wrap brand.

You're right about that. I can see it now, have a little stand set up at the next boat/fishing show in Tally vacuum sealing folkes knifes up.

Ah yes, the amazing vacuum sealer! (Right up there with duct tape for maintenance and repair.) Actually I thought of the vacuum sealer that, but I haven't met RC, and I didn't get one for Christmas. All I got was a lighted nasal hair trimmer. :smt009
