Do the reds normally shut off with the cold or will they pattern similar to the trout? I would normally be on a stand but the freezer is allready full :(

With low temps in the teens for a couple of days, I would assume they would be easy to find but hard to get them to eat. Probably really lethargic on account of being frozen.

Looking at my old logs and scanning the old noggin, they will be up on the grass on a rising tide, they will move their lips slower, but they will still bite, and they will be bunched up together. They will also be back in creeks in holes that hold crabs, and bait, and witing on me to come visit with a jig head and a gulp. On the flats thye will hit the spoon, gulp, and even top water. So in the words of Littoral "nothing, nothing, nothing". They will be biting even better so ya'll stay home and keep warm.

Deep holes in creeks and rivers with slow presentation of smaller baits. Old doll flies and smudge pots used to be the ticket for fat reds in this weather.
