We went and ran down to the third "the Creek" west of there, man was that a drag. Went back to the river we looked like the three stooges trying to get the dang hook to stick. Finally got anchored the second boat up from me was just stupid on fire but the dang the guy in between us and them was not. My rod went off 23" nice first fish twenty more to follow some were short some were missed, some were lost, the guy in between left angry everyone but him and he is right in the middle. Nine on ice I left the boat will be there in the A.M. again everybody said they bit better yesterday. Most folks where throwing pink sinkers and I caught one on my first cast with one but most were caught on a rootbeer curly tail Gulp by me and a Chart. curly tail bv my buddy, the guys in the other boat were going old school with the Pink and White curley tail grubs and laughing out loud at the plug slingers while catching ten to one over all around us but me. I was quietly watching and tryng to do like he did. Very little hopping more like worm fishing slow crawl on the bottom until weight then " reel till you feel and then make them squeal!" One guy slammed the reds and told me where and how he got them I reckon I might see if I can put that on the agenda also if it doesn't work out good I'll bring it back and try the home hole on Sat.
