Farm Pond Fly Fishing

S-L-O-W day here in Sly-Town. I wanted to go to Lake Blackshear but everytime I decided to leave it started raining again. So I grabbed my fly rod and went to a friends pond over in Tift County. I caught a pile of bream and some small bass. I threw them all back but after the 10th big bream, I thought a fish fry tonight would have been nice. After that all I caught were little butter beans.
This isn't much of a report but I haven't posted one in about a month. All of the fish were caught on a bumble bee fly. It was a lot of fun.

There's nothing wrong with catching a lot of bream. Glad ya caught a few. That one in the picture looks like a young shellcracker.

I think you are right. Most were much bigger, I wish I had at least taken a picture of a couple of those too.

Them bream fight good. Thanks for the report, and I need to wet a line at my Daddys house.

I'm setting myself up but.... what does a bumble bee fly look like?
Top water or sinker?

It is a sinker, it is nothing more than a really puffy dry fly. Black and yellow.
