Suwannee is the first place I ever went saltwater fishing and was hooked. Ended up with 3 in the box 2 on gulp jerk shad ,liking them pretty good latly, one trollong on a yellow/orange plug. :smt009

shnstone, you didn't find any white (sand) trout? I have some numbers for an awesome hole out of Suwannee. Sorry about the headache, that makes for a miserable time.

Next time you go holler at me and I will give you those numbers. Here is a picture of our cooler. We caught so many fish, but kept enough for a fish fry. Last time there were 4 of us and I bet we caught (not kept) over 200 fish and that is not streching the truth. My buddy that took us should speak up but he is just a "lurker" on this site. **We know you are there KB!** :-D Although there is no limit, some people really take advantage of it. We are always sportsmen about it.

Not a bad day on the water if you take out the headache and back trouble.

I grew up fishing there and at Steinhatchee. Used to be a few boats and a lot of fish ... now that has reversed. Last time I went and cruised up double barrel creek and it looked like a regatta was happening. I haven't been back.
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!

Yeah I didn't know if it was just because of the warmer weather or what but there were alot of boats there. I never been to double barrel. The places that I learned ..what little I know was barnett, dan may, lone cabbage,I think it's big trout ,little trout too.Wish I could learn some spots out the other pass but the guy that showed me those places had me scared to death to go that direction.
