Tribute to "Pepper"

This is just a small tribute to my dog of 15 years. It's not too often that you have one make it this long, especially being a "pound puppy" of 6 weeks when I got her, so I thought it was kinda interesting to see just how much transpired during her life.......she would have been 16 on 2/8/09 :( Her passing was quick and at home in her sleep.....

Back-to-back 2 term U.S. presidencies
A.A. degree in college
FSU's 2 college National Championships in football
5 different jobs
6 different houses
3 kids (I got her 1 year & 2 months before my oldest son Avery was born.....he's 14!)
1 ex-wife, 1 current wife
3 boats
2 cats
3 trucks
Lots of memories chasing quail, squirrels, turkeys and deer....even retrieving a few ducks before she got afraid of the shotgun

This was the last picture I took of her at Thanksgiving '08

RIP girl, and have fun chasing those tennis balls......

Obviously a very sad time for the Dolphinatic family. Some pastor might disagree, but I like to think dogs go straight to Heaven. There's a couple of glimpses of animals in Heaven in the Bible. Rev. 19:11 talks of seeing Jesus on a white horse in Heaven... I like to think he'll have a pack of dogs including Pepper running along side! May you and yours be comforted.

I'm always saddened to hear when one of our members looses a good friend. But, I appreciate the fact that they always seem to know that this group of folks truly understand just how much of a loss it really is. I hope your able to find another good friend in the future. It's amazing just how much fun, joy, entertainment, loyalty, and love we receive from such a pet and much too often we take it for granted, until they leave us.
