I have heard of knocking the "hair off of the dog", but the scales is a little different.

Habu Sake is sake with a Habu venomous snake in it - suppose to make you feel better if your sick. I'm not sure I have ever felt that bad :o

Took this picture while Okinawa

Shot from my motel room...tis about all I took while in Okinawa for three weeks working with some of the Marine Corps finest. Ate some great sushi for next to nothing...I always made a point to come the room and tell Tom Keels how I ate 10 pieces of sushi, a tuna roll and two beers for $10 :-D

Maybe the Saki would help but the live snake by herself would be ugly.

Out hoofen in the jungle one of our guys decided to pich a loaf got popped in the arse .

Crapped and fell back in it dead, found with his britches down.

Made a bad sound when he got hit.

By the way if you never had a tree full of fruit bats take take wing at night. (6 foot wing span) it will make you crap yourself.

Good to go Chalk. Oki is a decent stop during deployments (not as good as some other places...Phillipines, Thailand, Singapore, etc..), but is certainly one of the better places to be stationed for longer periods. They've done a great job providing a very safe and enjoyable environment for families. Good school systems, lots to do, travel opportunities off island, scuba, fishing, etc. etc. etc.

Great food and beer opportunities!

Not sure if you remember Chris Maine, but she took a Civ Service job as the MEF LNO.

Ron I remember Chris - speaking of which I was sitting in Naha waiting on my bird and looked around and saw Ginger Brown and John Wesley. I keep bumping into my former fellow coworkers....saw John Andrews in the Honolulu airport a few months ago. The world keeps getting smaller and smaller
