I wish I was joking...really. Take the time to look at this website and be aware of the sick minds that are out there. For every child that we reach and share the joys of fishing and outdoor life...there are ten more being indoctrinated by these people (PETA). This website and twisted mentallity behind it is nothing more than a direct attempt to brainwash children. They are not even covert about it. Give them an inch and they will take a mile. Educate yourself and be aware that PETA has several front. The World Wildlife Fund and the Humane Society are two of them. They all operate with the same agenda and tactics but are aimed at seperate audiences. Their ultimate goal is the same.

There are some mixed up people in this world. They think animals are more important than humans or God. They worship the creature rather than the Creator. They need prayer.

Not changing the subject too much, but just received a bunch of websites advertising all kind of child smut via email... hopefully it was some law enforcement agency hoping to get some hits to sting the pervs!

All we can do is teach our kids the differenct in what these idiots are really trying to do with their BS propaganda and the reality of what me and the other folks that believe in hunting,fishing and the general outdoors do for wildlife and the outdoor sports that we love. I can't speak for everyone else's kids but mine were hunting and fishing with me when they were old enough to walk. I don't think that you can start them too early. Get your kids involved...they are the future of what we believe in Makes me wonder what kind of home raising these crazy bastids had

Yet these same PETA folks will go to some fancy restaurant and order a Seafood platter or surf-n-turf and think nothing of it.

Every tree has it's nuts I guess. I guess PETA will go after flipper now, since he kills quite a few "sea kittens" every day.

I did have a great mental image of PETA showing up and trying to throw fake blood or god-knows-what on some of the returning boats out at Aucilla. With some of the good ol' boys out there (think Tin Can) I suspect they would end up cuddling and going to sleep with their cute little sea kittens...or to put it another way...sleepin wid da fishes!!!!

No sir, you don't get no blood on the Can, that is arse whooping offense.

It does make me wonder not really about the upbringing, my Dad never fished until a couple of years ago and he nor I hunt, but how were they taught the "circle of life" , food chain deal. I mean he!!, the Lion King was pretty straight forward with it and that was a pretty big deal. I guess it takes all kinds but what they don't realize is that the greatest conservationist is the outdoorsman that cares. I know there are quite a few who abuse the resource but far many more are willing to sacrifice for the greater good (net ban is a prime example).
Anyway, that's my rant for the afternoon.
