Because of the pretty weather me and a buddy of mine decided to hit Econfina since it wouldn't be crowded and try to catch some reds. It was so WINDY!! There was only one other truck in the parking lot and we only saw 2 boats all day long. It was an extremely slow day, the pinfish didn't even want to bite. It might be because of out 2.1 mph drift! We ended up in the river and caught a couple of fish but it was a very tough day of fishing. It reminded me of my bass tournament days... All in all it was a beautiful day and nothing tore up!

Pa i just heard that the econfina river at the state park is closed tomorrow to all except to the People that live on co rd 14

Aint that the truth! I should have stayed up here and fished the river with GA JOEY. It is a long two hour ride back when you are thinking about all the things you did wrong. There were fish down there I heard.............. just hard for a GA boy to find.

IVE HEARD THE STATE PARK WAS SOLD TO PEOPLE THAT LIVE ON THE CO RD 14 AND THE LANDING IS CLOSEING LOL
