HAPPY WAM DAY

Went to pre fish Thursday found them and left them biting. Thought I would go to the meeting but got off the water to late. Went to 1st Friday's downtown got treated to dinner by some friends at a great Itialian resturant called Gulio's sat in with Hi Fi at the City Market played the thrill is gone by B.B. King.
I went to the house to wait on my BIL as the 7th is his birthday too. It looks like he won't make it till about 1:00 in the morning. I bunk down and decide getting him up at 3:30 would be cruel and to skip the tourney. We got up around 7:00 picked up the Commrad and headed down got on the water at 11:00 the tide was moving in. The dang trolling motor had a dead battery. We rewired to 12 volts and eased around some real shallow spots to clear and to calm.
Got to where they have been and stumbled on them BIL starts whacking at them then I get in on it. The school scatters and we move on for a while.
At the end of the day we come back as the tide is flowing out and start to bang them again. My BIL alwasy comes the day or week after it was good so it was great to see him bust em up he got the most I got the biggest the commrad got the Redfish and we cooked them up with some folks yesterday for our birthdays. We had eleven caught on all different stuff lots on tops and some on white gulp with a jig head. We cleaned em up and ate at Ken's in Madison on the way back. It was good or we were just real hungry. Why do most of my posts have one thing in Bar B Que mmmm. He is down for a week so we will get at them again. Two of the bigger fish were caught by me on a floating rattle trap. It was pretty cool. 23, 24 , 25! BIL Frankie was top dog and the commrad was a good net Biotch all day long.
