Got home and thought it was a good day to try out Daylight Savings time...
Took the Yak, a rod and a few lures to Jackson
Fished from 5:30 to 8:30 and caught a half dozen like this

Had one nice one pull the yak into the pads.. wrapped me up and got off.

Nice to have a great lake just minuets from the house!

Purty fish. That lake has always had good bass, I fished it with my Grandfather in the late 60's and we always caught bass. Bigguns. On live lake shiners.

Do you know anything about launching a small boat near that bar and grill on the NW side of the lake? There's a little park right beside. Wasn't sure if it's a private launch or if it's still deep enough to get to other parts of the lake.

"Shuckers" is the name of the Bar and grill. Water is deep enough to launch and it`s a public ramp. The park is a county park.
