I'd watch for oysters. Be a shame to put a scratch in that shiny boat.

Ditch the bimini and you will be fine.

At high tide I have to back in pretty far to get the boat off. But there's good fishing not too far from there.

Ive put in there and at Hookwrecks--- Bottoms is shallow especially at low tide.

I'd put in at the Panacea City ramp by Hookwrecks.
Nice clear channel and you are right there at the marina if you need anything.

Nice Rig

Thanks guys,

~ thanks for the heads up on the bars. not too worried about the boats finish @ the moment, it's scratched, cloudy & has old decal shadows from stem to the stern. Although, your right ... I still don't want to run aground.

~ Agreed the bimini looks goofy , but it has quick release pins and pops off in seconds. It's to help protect my young son and ... I've had Melanoma issues in the past.

~ I'll scout out hookwrecks, Thanks alot.

They aint no Oyster bars around Bottoms landing!! Plenty of sand bars though  as stated earlier, on a high tide ya gotta back in a good ways ta float the boat  you would have to have a Winter low ta have any problems with a low tide  the main problem most have is finding and then staying in the unmarked channle untill the get over to the marked channle "if you try ta shoot strait over to the marked on on anything but a high tide, you'll probably be pushing the boat back out" :hammer: Good luck and have fun

I'd put in at Hookwrecks. Pretty decent ramp just watch out for the cutt off pilings they left in the water. At least there you can graba beer or 12 afterward a day on the water.

Dolphinatic can make that boat shine like a new penny.
Maybe he will post some before and after pix.
