My wife and I got a few days off work together so we thought a offshore trip would get us away from work but we didnt go far enough out , the phones still worked. The seas were almost flat and the tide was pretty slow. We got some pins and headed out to 60'. the water was clear and surface temps where around 70. We got some short groupers and had a close encounter with a sea turtle, he sufaced beside the boat and took a 15 second look at us before he had enough. The catch of the day was 7 big redfish we got on our last stop. Of course we fished to late and trailered just after dark. I had a new washdown pump onboard and was very pleased with the pressure. The boat ran fine even after about 6 months, stabil works. The man made an appearence out of the deep blue, ckecked us out and no problems.
